De balans is opgemaakt. Onder elkaar mijn favoriete tracks van 2009. In totaal 115 liedjes afkomstig uit verschillende genres; jazz, britpop, soul, dance, hiphop, rock, funk en world. Een kleurrijk geheel, al zeg ik het zelf. Naast fijne jazz van Eric Vloeimans, China Moses, Melody Gardot en Rob van de Wouw was er ook een hoop goede soul dit jaar; Tuomo, Jesse Dee, Mayer Hawthorne en bovenaan Lee Fields & The Expressions. Op het gebied van hiphop heb ik genoten van Mos Def, Q-Tip, Jay-Z en Typhoon. Ook de Nederlandse poprock bleef mij boeien met Awkward I en Coparck als hoogtepunten. Kyteman, Fink en Jamie Cullum hebben allen twee noteringen in de lijst.
