One of the tracks that I selected is ‘Living alone’ by the eclectic rock/R&B band Rotary Connection, early home to vocalist Minnie Riperton. Today, she would have been 68. Riperton is best remembered for her multi-octave range and the million-selling single ‘Lovin’ you’ from 1974. Definitely one of soul music's most unique and unforgettable voices.
