The opening track is 'The Moving Finger' by American jazz harpist Dorothy Ashby. A psychedelic jazz-funk track from her 1970 album The Rubaiyat of Dorothy Ashby, producer by Chicago soul wizard Richard Evans. After this record she moved to California and worked with Bill Withers, Freddie Hubbard, Earth, Wind & Fire, Diana Ross and Stevie Wonder. Stevie about Dorothy: "When we finally got 'If It's Magic' (Songs In The Key of Life) to work, it was because of the greatness of Dorothy Ashby. She did just something incredible. She let the harp sing".
